De mahoniehouten, in hoogte verstelbare, 90 graden draaibare, lamphouder lijkt op een vogel, of op de Concorde. De romp rust op een chromen cirkelvormige chromen voet, waarin de schakelaar is bevestigd. Het binnenwerk is van een ingenieuze afwerking. Binnen in de voet bevindt zich de omvormer om van 220 volt naar 12 volt te schakelen. Via de twee armen met aan weerszijden de plus- en minzijde wordt de stroom naar het halogeenlampje geleid. De maker had zich er simpel vanaf kunnen maken door twee draden naar het lampje te monteren, maar niet dus. Hij koos voor een oplossing van een bijzondere schoonheid.
